چکیده

This study investigated the relationship between human use of automation and their sensitivity to changes in automation and manual performance. In the real world, automation and manual performance change dynamically with changes in the environment. However, a few studies investigated whether changes in automation or manual performance have more effect on whether users choose to use automation. We used two types of experimental tracking tasks in which the participants had to select whether to use automation or conduct manual operation while monitoring the variable performance of automation and manual operation. As a result, we found that there is a mutual relationship between human use of automation and their sensitivity to automation and manual performance changes. Also, users do not react equally to both automation and manual performance changes although they use automation adequately. key words: human-automation system interaction, Misuse, Disuse, calibration, resolution

Spectrophotometric Multicomponent Analysis of Ternary and Quaternary Drug Mixtures in Human Urine Samples by Analyzing First-order Data

A new method was developed for the spectral resolution by further determination of three- and  four-component  mixtures  of  drugs in urine samples through  the complementary application of multivariate curve resolution-alternating least squares with correlation  constraint. In the current study, a simple method was proposed to construct a calibration set for the mixture of drugs in the p...

Planar Molecular Dynamics Simulation of Au Clusters in Pushing Process

Based on the fact the manipulation of fine nanoclusters calls for more precise modeling, the aim of this paper is to conduct an atomistic investigation for interaction analysis of particle-substrate system for pushing and positioning purposes. In the present research, 2D molecular dynamics simulations have been used to investigate such behaviors. Performing the planar simulations can provide a ...

Investigation of the Spatial Resolution of MR-Based Polymer Gel Dosimetry versus Film Densitometry using Dose Modulation Transfer Function

Introduction: The conventional methods of dosimetry are not capable of dosimetry in such a small volume of less than one cubic millimeter. Although the polymer gel dosimetry method based on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) could achieve three dimensional dosimetry with high resolution, a spatial resolution evaluation based on gel dose modulation transfer function has not been investigated yet. ...

Investigation of the Spatial Resolution and Field of View with Change of Magnification in VRX CT

Introduction: Variable resolution x-ray (VRX) CT is a new type of CT that can image objects at various spatial resolutions. In a VRX CT scanner, the spatial resolution increases at the cost of reduction in the field of view (FOV). An important factor that limits the spatial resolution of the VRX CT is the effect of focal spot size. Also, the optimum magnification is different at each incident a...

A New Investigation on Tunnel Pool Fire Phenomenon Using CFD Technique

In this study, the amount of generated pool fire, as a result of the release of chemicals in the case of an accident in tunnels, was simulated and the results were compared to the experimental data. At first, various amounts of spatial resolution (R*) were considered to compare the existing experimental data at different heights at the upstream, downstream and above the pool fire...
